Every Batch Has a Story

Every batch begins with simple ingredients and ends with something worth sharing. Everything in between takes a lot of care, a commitment to getting it just right, and the moments that make every batch uniquely PritcHardy.

Why Our Candies Taste So Good

We wish we could tell you it's some big family secret.

It's not.

It's real butter. Fresh cream. Plenty of sugar. Quality ingredients.

And one candy maker who stares at a thermometer like it's going to blink first.

Making great caramel and toffee isn't complicated—but it does require paying attention. Temperatures matter. Timing matters. Knowing exactly when to pull a batch matters.

There's no "close enough."

Sometimes we wait another minute. Sometimes we make another batch. We'd rather get it right than rush it.

While Jason watches every degree, Crys makes sure every batch is worthy of the PritcHardy name. (Someone has to handle quality control.)

The result is rich, buttery caramels and crisp, buttery toffee that we're proud to share with your family.

OUR STORY

FAMILY OWNED
& OPPERATED

Why our candy tastes the way candy used to taste.

The PritcHardy Difference

Every piece of PritcHardy candy is made with a commitment to quality, simple ingredients, and time-honored candy-making traditions. Learn what makes our handcrafted candy different from the rest.

Our friends and family have eaten an unreasonable amount of candy. Before we sold a single bag, years of recipes were tested on friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and anyone who happened to wander into our kitchen. The good news? They kept coming back for more.
We're not saying butter and sugar solve everything...... but they've solved quite a few bad days around here. We start with simple ingredients and spend an unreasonable amount of time obsessing over flavor, texture, and consistency so every batch is worth sharing.
Most hobbies don't end with a candy company. What started as weekend tinkering turned into years of recipe testing, holiday gifts, and people asking, "When are you going to start selling this?" Eventually, we took the hint.
We take our candy seriously. Ourselves? Not so much. We're a family-owned business making the candy we love to eat. No fancy buzzwords. No complicated philosophy. Just handcrafted caramel, buttery toffee, and a lot of smiles.
